– Trong câu có các từ như : seldom / hardly / scarely /never hay chủ từ là các từ No (Noone / No body / Nothing ) thì phần hỏi đuôi luôn ở thể khẳng định 

– Trong phần hỏi đuôi luôn là đại từ (I , you , he , she , they , it , we , there)

– Khi phần đuôi phải ở phủ định thì không tách rời not ra khỏi trợ động từ mà phải dính liền ở dạng rút gọn (don’t / doesn’t / won’t / isn’t / haven’t / ………)

– Khi chủ từ là: Someone, Somebody, Noone, Nobody, Anyone, Anybody thì đuôi là “they”

– Khi chủ từ là: something, nothing, anything thì đuôi là “it”

* Trường hợp đặc biệt:

– I am wrong, aren’t I?

– They must work hard, needn’t they?  (chỉ sự cần thiết)

–  You mustn’t come late, must you? (chỉ sự cấm đoán)

– She must be a very kind woman, isn’t she? (chỉ sự dự đoán ở hiện tại)

– You must have stolen my wallet, haven’t you? (chỉ sự dự đoán ở quá khứ)

* Khi viết lại câu với câu hỏi đuôi, ta lưu ý:

Khi đề bài cho câu nghi vấn, chúng ta chuyển thành câu khẳng định rồi thêm phần hỏi ở cuối câu.

Ex:  Do they walk to school?

” They walk to school, don’t they?

Are you a student?

” You are a student, aren’t you?

Has she finished homework?

” She has finished homework, hasn’t she?

Topic 5: CONDITIONAL SENTENCES (Câu điều kiện)

 

  1. REVIEW.
  2. Conditional sentence (type 1)

       Diễn tả sự việc có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai.

Ex: If it rains a lots, the farmers will get good crops.

* Form:

If clause Main clause
S + V(s/es) S + will/can/must/may + Vo….

 

  1. Conditional sentences (type 2)

       Diễn tả sự việc không có thật ổ hiện tại hoặc tương lai.

Ex: If I were you, I would learn English very hard.

If wanted to learn well, he had to keep silent in the class.

*. Form:

  1. Cách viết lại câu điều kiện.

   – Dạng 1:

        Nếu câu đề là tương lai – tương lai, thì dùng loại 1 (không phủ định)          

         Ex: I will get up early. I will have breakfast with you.

                “If I get up early, I will have breakfast with you.

   – Dạng 2:                                                                          

        Nếu câu đề là hiện tại – hiện tại/ tương lai, thì dùng loại 2 (phủ định)

         Ex: It is cold. I can’t go swimming.

                “ If it weren’t cold, I could go swimming.

   – Dạng 3:

        * Nếu câu đề là:

                                 Don’t + Vo …..or + mệnh đề.

                                 “ If you + Vo (viết lại hết câu, thay or bằng dấu phẫy)

          Ex: Don’t stay up late or you will be tired.

                 “ If you stay up late, you will be tired.

       * Nếu câu đề là:

                                Vo ………or + mệnh đề.

                                 “ If you don’t + Vo (viết lại hết câu, thay or bằng dấu phẫy)

          Ex: Do exercise or you will be punished.

                 “ If you don’t do exercise, you will be punished.

   – Dạng 4:

       Khi câu đề có “because”, thì dùng đk2 phản nghĩa, thay “because “ thành “if”.

            Ex: I can’t go out because it rains.

                   “ If it didn’t rain, I could go out.

   – Dạng 5:

        Khi câu đề có “so”, thì thay “so” bằng dấu phẩy, dùng đk2 phản nghĩa.

            Ex: She is lazy so she can’t pass the exam.

                   “If she weren’t lazy, she could pass the exam.

   – Note:

        Unless = If …..not: trừ phi, nếu không thì

                        If + mệnh đề 1, mệnh đề 2.

                        “ Unless + phủ định mệnh đề 1, mệnh đề 2.

            Ex: If you don’t study hard, you will fail the exam.

                   “ Unless you study hard, you will fail the exam.

   Các loại giới từ thường gặp trong tiếng Anh

– Giời từ chỉ thời gian:

+ At : vào lúc ( thường đi với giờ )
+ On : vào ( thường đi với ngày )
+ In : vào ( thường đi với tháng, năm, mùa, thế kỷ )
+ Before: trước
+ After : sau
+ During : ( trong khoảng) ( đi với danh từ chỉ thời gian )

– Giời từ chỉ nơi chốn:

+ At : tại ( dùng cho nơi chốn nhỏ như trường học, sân bay…)

+ In : trong (chỉ ở bên trong ) , ở (nơi chốn lớn thành phố, tỉnh ,quốc gia, châu lục…)

+ On, above, over : trên

– Giời từ chỉ sự chuyển dịch:

+ to: chỉ hướng tiếp cận tới người,vật,địa điểm.
+ into: tiếp cận và vào bên trong vật,địa điểm đó
+ onto: tiếp cận và tiếp xúc bề mặt,ở phía ngoài cùng của vật,địa điểm
+ From: chỉ nguồn gốc xuất xứ Ex: i come from vietnamese
+ Across : ngang qua Ex: He swims across the river. ( anh ta bơi ngang qua sông)
+ Along : dọc theo
+ Round, around, about: quanh

– Giới từ chỉ thể cách:

+ Without : không, không có
+ According to: theo
+ In spite of : mặc dù
+ Instead of : thay vì

– Giới từ chỉ mục đích:
